Patrick Kelly -  Managing Director

Patrick has had a rather eclectic career in biology, software development and product sales. He likes to assure us that this was a carefully planned preparation for leading an innovative healthcare IT company. ExtraMed certainly benefits from this wide range of experience. Patrick is comfortable discussing clinical issues with medical staff and technology with IT experts.

From an original position as a research scientist, Patrick moved into software development in the Finance Sector with Scottish Amicable. With an interest in software development methods he moved to Texas Instruments and later Sterling Software where he provided technical expertise to the sales activity.

Patrick's energy and vision gives ExtraMed its direction and personality.

Andy McKee - Operations Director

Andy McKee heads up our software factory, delivering top quality product and fantastic technical support services to our customers.
 
After exploring his marketing side as an undergraduate Andy acquired his masters in Computing for Commerce and Industry in 1999. And we are very grateful for this. Andy worked in a range of sectors with companies such as Wyndham Worldwide, Canvas Holidays (in IT), Scottish Mutual, and United Distillers and joined ExtraMed in 2005.
 
Ask Andy what he is interested in and he’ll tell you all about software development techniques, process controls and his ongoing development as father of two young girls. But scratch the surface of this congenial IT bloke and you’ll find an avid Kilmarnock FC fan. What’s puzzling is that Andy claims to enjoy his football.

Andy’s grasp of technical issues, particularly those facing the NHS, his excellent analytical skills and a wide experience of business and management issues all gives ExtraMed a strong asset as head of our software capability.

Colin Clark - Financial Director

A Chartered Accountant with 20 years experience in industry in a variety of general and financial management roles in private and plc companies, Colin was FD at DX Communications Limited which was sold to BT plc. He founded Clark Associates in 1997 and assists high growth SME companies with corporate finance and financial management strategy.

David Brogan - Sales Consultant

As a very keen cyclist and all round sports enthusiast, David is extremely competitive, driving himself to ever greater sporting successes. He uses that same drive and motivation to push ExtraMed's business development team to secure new business and build strong customer relationships.

Before coming to ExtraMed, David was responsible for Sales in the UK's successful northern division of Gilead Sciences.

Together with his previous career as a physiotherapist in the NHS, and his varied Sales and Marketing roles in the pharmaceutical industry, David's knowledge and expertise make him a valuable asset to ExtraMed. David is perfectly qualified to build relationships with customers, create new business and build key accounts.
