Bedford Hospital Wins Innovation Award!

Bedford Hospital NHS Trust has won the HEE 2008 Innovation in Software Award – for their implementation of the Infection Tracking Module of ExtraMed Beds.

The original ExtraMed Beds customer won this prestigious Innovation in Software award for it's excellent Electronic Management for Infection Control project. This project was centered on one of ExtraMed Beds latest capabilities - Infection Tracking.

Dr Nick Jones and colleagues from Bedford Hospital NHS Trust were presented with the award at the Health Enterprise East 2008 Innovation Awards dinner on Wednesday 16th April 2008.

This is fantastic recognition for a lot of hard work put in by one of our customers. The infection tracking capability will assist Bedford in their work to reduce infections and improve patient outcomes. That is exactly what we expect from clinical software and ExtraMed can only deliver these solutions by working intimately with great clinical teams. Well done Nick and the rest of the team in Bedford!
